K&A's 1953 FORD POPULAR "POP" HOTROD

Once you pop, you can't ...  (my lawyers told me to STOP there).

 You get my point.

At a certain point in England's recent history, the Ford Popular was about as common on the english roads as Crips Packets, lost deer and potholes.

Now significantly less common, any Ford Pop that remains is a true survivor. And survive they have, though in remarkably different ways.

Some have retained the original sidevalve running gears, others have Jaguar straight sixes or even V-12s!

This example is a fantastic display of true British Hotrodding - A ford pop kitted out with a Rover V8 Lump, American Racing wheels, a Jag rear end and a paint job that gives the National Gallery a run for it's money.
